The previously leading hosts from Slovakia had to settle for draws against Austria and Hungary, narrowly missing out on a home victory. In the end, the Czech Republic scored 13 out of a possible 18 team points \u2013 enough to secure sole victory. Coach Milan Novkovic\u2019s team allowed only one draw against Hungary, won the other eight matches\u2014mostly by a clear margin\u2014and convincingly secured the Mitropacup title with 17 points. Tournament director Milan Roman and chief arbiter Martin Dobrotka also managed two venue changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A particular highlight was the live commentary by Sergei Movsesian alongside the livestream, where he also presented two highlights of the day for each round.
