MITROPA Summit in Vienna

A Summit of the MITROPA Chess Association members and the Board was held in Vienna on January 24th-26th, 2025.

The Board and the members discussed many improvements to be delivered to the MitropaCup in the future, keeping strong our tradition and making it more and more attractive and competetive.

New ways of cooperation as well as some concerns over the international context were discussed in order to help the members in their management.

MITROPA Chess Association was established in 2021 and it is a FIDE Affiliated Organisation with the purpose to help the ten traditional MITROPA Countries in improving their international placement.
