Mitropacup 2024 in Germany

The German Chess Federation is organising the Mitropa Cup 2024 from 14th to 23rd February in Apolda. The city of Apolda is the host. Venue is the city hall. There will be an open section and a women section. Each team consists of 4 players and 1 reserve player. One player acts as captain of each team.

The following chess federations are authorised to participate in the Mitropa Cup 2024: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland.

The chess federations must confirm their participation by 31 December 2023.
The chess federations must nominate the players by 31 January 2024.
The board order will be determined at the Technical Meeting.

Notice that there will be a side event during the Mitropacup 2024: The Erfurter Chessclub organizes in cooperation with chessXdream the 1st Thuringia Senior Open Chess Championship.
